It brings together builders, architects, designers, manufacturers, housing associations and local authorities, to develop, share and promote best practice in environmentally sustainable building.   • AECB AT ECOBUILD
    AECB is putting on two seminars in the Ecobuild Fringe: an in-depth look at heat-recovery ventilation, and a discussion of attitudes to uptake of the Passivhaus standard. Other AECB members are also giving talks and seminars, and our experts will be available on the AECB stand. More info here

  • AECB offers Passivhaus Certification
    AECB is now able to offer a Passivhaus Certification service, accredited by the Passivhaus Institut in Darmstadt, Germany.
    AECB is now one of four organisations in Britain and Ireland able to offer certification to this leading European low energy standard.  AECB also now offers certification of AECB Silver Standard projects (performance version). More information
  • Passivhaus Buildings AECB has established a new organisation, the Passivhaus Buildings Trust, a centre of excellence for low energy and low carbon buildings, taking forward the success of Carbonlite. The Trust is wholly owned by the AECB, and will build on the huge base of expertise and experience within the AECB. Find out more.
